An IT Glue alternative with the network built in

IT Glue is a well-known documentation platform for MSPs. Spark Dock covers documentation too, and adds the network itself: a collector discovers devices, draws the topology and keeps documentation in step with what is really on site.

What IT Glue is

  • IT Glue describes itself as a documentation platform for IT teams and MSPs, and is part of Kaseya.
  • Its features page lists structured documentation, relationship mapping, password management with an audit trail, automated password rotation, 60+ native integrations and SOC 2 compliance.
  • Add-ons include MyGlue for client access and Network Glue for network discovery and diagramming.

What Spark Dock does differently

  • Documentation that starts from the network. The SPARK Box, or the collector on your own hardware with our image, discovers and identifies devices on each site. Topology is built from CDP, LLDP, SNMP and the Meraki and UniFi APIs.
  • Docs, vault and network in one console: a spreadsheet-style documentation grid, an encrypted password vault, remote access, tickets and alerts, in the same workspace as monitoring.
  • Pricing that doesn't grow with devices. Free for MSPs and their own local site, with unlimited sites and 3 users included. Extra users are €19 a month. Never priced per device. Client pricing is shared when you join.
  • Made for client work: a multi-client console, timesheets and billing, branded client reports, compliance reports and a white-label client portal on your own domain.

When IT Glue may suit you better

If your stack is built around Kaseya tools, or you rely on a long list of PSA and RMM integrations today, IT Glue's integration library is broader than Spark Dock's.

Questions

Does Spark Dock need an agent on every device?
No. One collector per site reports over a signed, outbound-only channel, with no inbound firewall rules.
Is Spark Dock free?
For MSPs, yes. Your workspace and your own local site are free, with unlimited sites and 3 users included. Solo, for in-house IT, is €99 a month with 1 user.
How do I start?
Create your free workspace, then plug in a SPARK Box or run the collector on your own hardware. Each site gets a 14-day free setup.
