Programmatic access to your sites.
Today, SPARK exposes your organisation's data and collector commands through an MCP server, so the AI assistant you already use can work with it. A general REST API is in development.
Nova MCP server
Available now on the MSP and Enterprise tiers
Nova is exposed as a Model Context Protocol server over streamable HTTP. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor or Claude Code and ask questions or run actions against your clients, sites, devices, alerts and tickets. The assistant supplies the reasoning; SPARK supplies the data and the collector command channel.
- Endpoint
- https://<project-ref>.supabase.co/functions/v1/nova-mcp
- Transport
- MCP streamable HTTP, stateless JSON-RPC over POST. Protocol versions 2025-06-18, 2025-03-26 and 2024-11-05.
- Authentication
- Connector keys created on the Nova page (shown once, stored as a SHA-256 hash). Send as
Authorization: Bearer nova_…or, for clients that cannot set headers, in the URL path. - Audit
- Every call runs as the key's owner, re-checks their membership and is logged with tool, arguments, outcome and duration. Revoking the key cuts access immediately.
Scopes and tools
| Scope | Tools |
|---|---|
| read | list_clients, network_overview, list_collectors, list_alerts, list_devices, get_device, get_command_result, security_posture, list_tickets, get_ticket, search_knowledge, list_time_entries |
| write | update_alert, request_sweep, create_ticket, add_ticket_comment, run_device_command (test_connection, gather_metrics, backup_config) |
| control | run_device_command (reboot_device, port_enable, port_disable, port_power_cycle) — organisation admins only |
Control-scope actions such as reboots and port changes require the key owner to be an organisation admin, the same gate as the SPARK interface.
