An Auvik alternative with documentation built in
Auvik is a cloud network management platform used by many MSPs. Spark Dock also discovers and maps networks with a collector on each site, and keeps documentation, passwords, remote access and tickets in the same place.
What Auvik is
- Auvik's features page describes cloud-based network management with automated discovery from a collector and a topology map.
- It lists 64+ preconfigured alerts, configuration backup, NetFlow traffic analysis, syslog, support for 15,000+ device types from 700+ vendors, and multi-tenant use for MSPs.
- Auvik prices per billable device on a custom quote, and offers a 14-day trial.

What Spark Dock does differently
- One console for network and documentation: a documentation grid, encrypted password vault, remote access, tickets, and timesheets and billing for MSPs.
- Free for MSPs and their own local site, with unlimited sites and 3 users included. Never priced per device.
- Choose the SPARK Box collector, or self-host the collector on your own hardware with our image.
- Cisco Meraki and UniFi connect through their APIs. Devices seen by both the collector and the cloud are matched and marked confirmed.

Questions
- How long does setup take?
- Each site gets a 14-day free setup. Plug in the SPARK Box or run our image, enrol it with a one-time site code, and discovery starts.
- Does the collector change anything on my network?
- Discovery is read-only by default. The collector only changes a device when you ask it to, for example a Meraki reboot.
